| 1. The Overheat Thermostat temperature is not set at the appropriate temperature. |

| If the thermostat is either set at the same temperature as the dryer settings or at a lower temperature, the safety units will run and activate the overheat alarm. |

- Check the settings of the thermostat.

Thermostat with fixed temperature: Built-in on the outer tube of the drying hopper (one on DPD-5, two on DPD-15) and the conical section of the heater (one). |

Thermostat with adjustable temperature: Set on the heater of the inner tube section of the drying hopper (center of straight drum section). |

If the safety units worked, the heater will need 5 hours of cooling time. Even when restarting while cooling down, the thermostat may start due to the residual heat in the heater. Please use extra caution when setting the temperature.
- Set the temperature 20 degrees C above the drying temperature.
