Pump does not run.
  1. Power Cable Connection Terminals are not securely tightened.
  2. Magnetic Switch (MS-1) is not functioning normally.
  3. Medium is contaminated, foreign substance in pump.

1. Power Cable Connection Terminals are not securely tightened.
If terminals are loose, unit may be running under single-phase operation.
  1. Check to see if terminals are securely fastened.
If problem persists

2. Magnetic Switch (MS-1) is not functioning normally.
Please have authorized worker perform inspections.
For parts replacements, do not have anyone besides authorized workers or a Matsui service worker perform the work.
  1. Open the control panel and see if the switch is functioning.

    [Point] After checking, securely set white cover back on.
    (Reference) Tolerance - 2 million times
    [Abnormal Function]
      Condition where magnetic points are damage and center section is caved in during machine stops or does not caved in even when pressing by hand.
     
    Start work after stopping operation and check that breaker is off.
    Please have authorized worker do the work.

  2. Replace switch if weld damage or wear is found, or when function is abnormal. Check with your local Matsui service office.

3. Medium is contaminated, foreign substance in pump.
Scales or rust may have contaminated the inside of pump, leading to improper operations.
If contaminated, overcurrents may run through pump. In worst cases, coil may suffer burn damage. Do not operate under this condition.
  1. Open the lid of the front section of the pump and check to see if there are any contaminating particles.

    When opening the lid:
    1. Remove the four bolts.
    2. Insert screws into the holes to force lid off. When turning the screws, turn evenly to remove lid.

      Mediums should be switched once a month.
