Granulator will not start, even if start button is pressed
  1. Clamps of feed hopper/cutter chamber are not secured
  2. Particles in the feed hopper/cutter chamber
  3. Limit Switch is not working properly

1. Clamps of feed hopper/cutter chamber are not secured
If clamps are loose, the CLOSE limit switch will not work, preventing operation
  1. Check to see if all clamps are tightly secured
  2. If any of the clamps are loose, tighten securely
If problem persists

2. Dust/Particles in feed hopper/cutter chamber
If there are any dusts or particles (i.e. metal parts), they will interfere with cutters and cause noise
Always begin work after turning power off!
  1. Remove feed hopper clamps and slowly open hopper to side where hopper tips
  2. Check for dusts or particles. Remove if necessary
If problem persists

3. Limit switch is not working properly
If limit switch does not work properly, equipment will not start since closure of feed hopper cannot be confirmed
  1. Check to see if limit switch is pushed
  2. If equipment does not start even with the limit switch pushed, the switch is defective. Replace the limit switch
