Maintenance Item Frequency Work Details Notes

Temperature
Controller
Daily Check to see if both drying or regeneration temperatures are running under temperature readings set on controller.

Normal Range: +2~3 degrees C from set value.
  Press "SV" button to check drying temperature. Press "Reset" and "SV" at the same time to check regenerate temperature. Actual temperature will appear while switches are held down.

Cooling Water
Check water/oil leak.
  If cooling water is not run, drying dew point temperature will not drop and may cause drying defects. Also may not be able to set low temperatures.
(3)
Dust Tube
(clear vinyl tube)
*when one-pass or half-circulation.
Clean dust in tubes. Remove cap from under the tube and dispose.
  After disposing, securely set dust cap back on.
  Exhaust Filter Case: Case will reach high temperatures (over 130 degrees C) while running. Avoid direct skin contact.

Hose
Weekly Check if hose is disconnected or has air leaks.
  If hose is damaged, replace with new one.
(5)
Filter
Check for clogging. If clogged, remove filter and blow out clogging with clean dry air.
  Do not remove the wire net from the blower suction filter.
  When blowing dry air to clean, always wear a mask to avoid exposure to the particles that fly in the air.
  If filter is clogged, this may cause inconsistencies in drying temperatures and air flow and, in worst cases, fire hazards.
  Degree of dirtiness of filters depends on enviroment unit is set in. Recommend detailed inspections and cleaning.
  After inspection, set filter back to original position in secure manner.
  If badly clogged, replace with new filter.

Electromagnetic Switches and Contactors
Check switches and contactors in control panel for weld damage and wear.
  Before starting inspections, make sure the unit is stopped and turn power breaker at front of unit off.
  If weld damage and wear are found, replace with new parts.
(7)
Control Panel Terminals
Monthly Check looseness of wire connections in control panel and any electrical unit of equipment. If loose, tighten connections.
  Before starting inspections, make sure the unit is stopped and turn power breaker at front of unit off.
(8)
Bolts/Nuts
Every 3 Months Check every bolt and nut for looseness. Tighten if looseness is found.  
(9)
Rotor Drive Belt
Every 6 Months Check to see if belt is cracked, damaged, loose or if rotor is rotating normally.
  If any abnormality if verified, belt must be replaced. Contact your nearest Matsui office for service.

* For safety purposes, please turn off power of unit when performing inspections.
* When working on drying hopper section, due to accumulated high temperatures, turn the drying switch off and allow the hopper area to cool off. Start inspections or cleaning after making sure the hopper section has cooled off.
* Stop air flow going to measuring units. Also, release any air remaining inside sections after the primary supply valve.
