DPD-3 Thermal Conduction Vacuum Dryer
Issues > Check/Troubleshooting
Feed Valve Alarm is displayed on the Alarm Screen.
  1. Lack of drive air pressure.
  2. Operation Confirm Lead Switch is not functioning normally.
  3. Operating speed (ON and OFF) is not adjusted properly.
  4. The solenoid valve is not working properly.
  5. Materials or foreign substances caught in damper.

1. Lack of drive air pressure.
If sufficient pressure is not applied on the drive air, the cylinder will not open and feed valve alarm will occur.
  1. Check the regulator pressure.
  2. Set the pressure to 0.4 ~ 0.5 MPa.
    [Point]
For dry compression air from the main air compression, make sure pressure is higher than 0.67 MPa. Use clean dry air treated from the air dryer or the air filter. Also, during cold climates, drain fluids sufficiently to prevent the drain from freezing.

2. Operation Confirm Lead Switch is not functioning normally.
If the CLOSE Lead Switch is not detecting properly, the feed valve alarm will light up.
  1. Check to see if the lead switch is functioning normally.
  2. Adjust the set position of the lead switch. Also, the switch will have to be replaced if it is damaged. In this case, contact your local Matsui office for service.

3. Operating speed (ON and OFF) is not adjusted properly.
If the operating speed is not sufficient, the valve may not close completely if materials are getting caught.
  1. Check the function of the air cylinder.
  2. Use the speed controller on the air cylinder to adjust the operation speed.

4. The solenoid valve is not working properly.
  1. Check to see if the solenoid valve is operating normally.

  2. Repair or replace the valve.

5. Materials or foreign substances caught in damper.
If the valve cannot close completely due to any materials getting caught, the feed valve alarm will light up due to the CLOSE lead switch not functioning.
Before starting work, stop the drive air supply and release the remaining pressure from the air pipes.
  1. Check to see if any materials are caught or not.
  2. Remove any materials caught.
