DPD-3 Thermal Conduction Vacuum Dryer
Issues > Check/Troubleshooting
Drying Temperature Alarm is displayed on the Alarm Screen.
  1. The Upper and Lower Limit temperatures are not set at the appropriate temperatures.
  2. The temperature sensors for each heater is not working properly.
  3. The Solid State Relay (SSR) in the control panel is not running normally.

1. The Upper and Lower Limit temperatures are not set at the appropriate temperatures.
(Drying Setting Temperature + Upper Limit Setting Temperature) < Drying Temperature
(Drying Setting Temperature - Lower Limit Setting Temperature) > Drying Temperature
  1. Display the drying temperature settings on the touch panel and check the upper and lower limit settings.

    (Note)
[Checking the Upper/Lower Limits] Display the temperature screen on the touch panel. On the PV section, the heater temperature should be set at either the upper or lower limit.

    [Point]
If each setting is at "0", the following should occur:
    - Upper Limit: The Drying Temperature Alarm will not work for the Upper Limit Set temperature.
    - Lower Limit: The Drying Temperature Alarm will not work for the Lower Limit Set temperature.

  2. Input the proper set temperature.

3. The temperature sensors for each heater is not working properly.
  1. Check to see if the temperature sensor is disconnected or not. If there is an abnormality, please replace the sensor.

3. The Solid State Relay (SSR) in the control panel is not running normally.
If the temperature becomes inconsistent from the heater relays functioning improperly, drying temperature alarm will occur.
  1. (How to check the SSR)
Turn the power breaker on (power lamp will light up) and turn the operation switch off. If the heater conductor is normal, current should not be running into the heater circuit routes. Use the clamp meter to measure the current on the route. If current is running in the route, the SSR is damaged. Replace the SSR. For repairs and replacements, contact your local Matsui service offices.
  2. Repair or replace any part functioning improperly.
