Raptor22 ST2™

The newly innovative Raptor22 pelletizing system, allows for the re-use of expensive engineered resins in critical molding applications, which in the past was not possible. Raptor’s unique pelletizing performance is based on a proprietary screw design which prevents carbonization and eliminates material shear-heat, which in turn allows the material to retain its original chemistry. A carbide rotating blade cuts the water mist-cooled material strands at high speeds producing round, tear shaped pellets. A unique vacuum based conveying system further cools the material while it is transported to a cyclone receiver.  The Raptor22 pelletizing system makes it possible to process and re-use highly engineered recycled materials like LCP, COC, COP, PC, PA46, and PEEK, and more!

The Raptor 22 produces clean and uniform pellets, induces very little deterioration of physical material properties and as with all Matsui products features state of the art and intuitive control technology and HMI, as well as maximum energy efficiency.
