(1)
Exhaust Filter
(travelon filter) |
Weekly |
Remove filter from dryer, blow clean dry air and remove particles.
* |
Remove dust cap and take out dust. |
If the exhaust air does not exit the hopper efficiently, |
May not be able to control temperature normally.
"Upper Limit Alarm" may appear on panel lamp. |
(2)
Packing
(all)
Every Cleaning |
Check to see if the packing is securely attached or see if air is leaking during operations.
* |
Check the tightness of the adjust fastener. |
Materials or dust may scatter. |
"Lower Limit Alarm" may appear on panel lamp. |
May not be able to control temperature normally. |
(3)
Suction Filter
(travelon filter) |
Monthly |
Remove filter from dryer, blow clean dry air and remove particles.
* |
Securely install after cleaning. |
Air suction and air to hopper may lessen and materials may not dry sufficiently. |
(4)
U-Bolt
Sensors |
Check to see if the U-bolt is securely fitted or if the sensor is deformed or installed on the correct position. |
If the U-bolt is loose, drying air will leak outside. May not be able to control temperature because of this. Temperature may be inconsistent if the sensor is deforming. |
(5)
MC-1 Wear
Inspection
(Solenoid contactor) |
Every 3 Months |
Open the control panel to see if black powder is stuck on the surface of the MC-1. |
If the MC-1 is used at a high temperature, this may reduce the life span of the contactor. |
(6)
Screws, Bolts,
Nuts |
Every 6 Months |
Check looseness of each screw, bolt and nut. Also check the looseness of fitting bolts on the molding units as well as the connections of the drying units.
* |
Check looseness on any bolt or nuts. Tighten if loose. |
If either the fitting bolts or the connecting bolts are loose, machine may tip over and cause damage. |
* |
For safety purposes, please turn off power of unit when performing inspections.
If the filter is worn or if particles cannot be removed, replace with a new filter. |
