Power breaker tripping.
  1. Breaker trip caused by activation of shunt safety device. (overheat thermostat)
  2. Short circuit.

  1. SSR is not functioning normally.
  2. Unit is running in spite of absence of medium.

Heat conductors use SSR but is suseptible to damage due to short circuiting or increase in enviromental temperature.
Please have authorized worker perform inspections.
For parts replacements, do not have anyone besides authorized workers or a Matsui service worker perform the work.
  1. Open the control panel and see if SSR is functioning.

    [Point]
    Turn unit power breaker on (check power lamp) and turn operation switch off. If heater conductor is normal, current will not run to heater circuits under aforementioned conditions. Use clampmeter to measre current running to heater circuits. The SSR is damaged if current is running to the circuits. Please replace SSR. For repairs or replacement, contact your local Matsui service office.

2. Unit is running in spite of absence of medium.
Unit may run without medium when scale does not function properly.
  1. Check floatless switch (L, H types) and float switch (A type) and clean if dirty. Inspect once every three months.

2. Short circuit.
Will occur when either the sensor is disconnected or when the sensor is fitted improperly.
Check to see that power is turned off before starting work.
  1. Take out short circuit. Also, check to see if terminals are loose.
  2. Contact local Matsui service.
